Frame Assembly
Factory Five builds a fantastic frame. After removing the aluminum, we painted the frame with POR-15. I then enlarged the passenger footbox, prior to painting the visible aluminum and framework the body and stripe colors. The aluminum is roughed up with 80 grit disks on a DA sander. I then sprayed two coats of an etching primer on the aluminum. It was then painted with PPG automotive paint to match the body colors. I'm using Acura Antracite (charcoal color) and Satin Silver.
